Vivian Chew is a renowned music and event production executive. In 1998, she founded TimeZone International, the first and only US-based, black-owned company that provides many recording artists, such as Jill Scott, Lil Wayne, JoJo, Toni and Tamar Braxton, Kem, Brian McKnight, Jay-Z, India.Arie, BeBe Winans and others with international marketing and promotion, touring, licensing, and distribution services in expanded regions. As an accomplished groundbreaker, Vivian spearheaded the McDonald’s “I’m Lovin’ It” campaign in six international territories. Moreover, she is the first black female membership representative for the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) whereby she then founded the “ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards,” celebrating its 30th year in 2017. Prior, Vivian also worked in leadership/executive positions at Polygram Records, Epic Records and 550/Sony Music. Amongst other notable successes, she signed and introduced the world to two-time Grammy winning, platinum selling dancehall superstar, Shabba Ranks.
