Pierre A. Oscar is a well seasoned professional in the mental-behavioral health field with a culturally sensitive, bilingual, and holistic perspective. 

 

Pierre is the Founder & CEO of VitaLinK Behavioral Health Care Services, LLC, and VitaCare: In Home Therapeutic Services, and the newly formed VitaLinK: Mental Health & Wellness Group.  

 

He has been licensed as a clinical social worker in NJ since 1994. Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Pierre and his family arrived in the USA when he was five years old and settled in the South Bronx where he was raised and spent his formative years before attending college. He has extensive experience as a clinical Director/Supervisor and Clinician. As a practicing Psychotherapist, he has a dual undergraduate degree in Psychology & Sociology, a Masters in Clinical Social Work, and a Masters in Counseling & Human Resource Development. He also holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology and is Certified by NASW as a trained Supervisor, State of NJ Certified Mental Health Screener (trained in CBT), Family System, Marriage & Couples Therapy, Reality Based Therapy, Psychodynamics, Adult & Childhood Crisis + Trauma, and Career Transitional Life Coach.
